Arras is a perfect charming stopping point for travellers coming from Paris to Brussels/London. A town rich - of Flemish architecture, history and culture.

Arras is famous thanks to its beautiful belfry; it has been elected the most beautiful monument in France by the French themselves!
Start the day by climbing on top of the belfry, a UNESCO world heritage site. From there, admire the two large open squares, with their typical Flemish architecture: a highlight in Arras. You can hire an audio guide from the town hall and visit the ‘heart of the town’ walking through the main historic sites.
Inside the town hall, meet the giants of Arras, Colas, Jacqueline and Dede. They are a cherished tradition of the city. The giants have their own stories and sometimes, during a holiday or a festival, they get to travel around and meet giants from other cities.
Arras is also famous for its Main Square Festival, an international music festival, which takes place in the first week of July every year. The festival is held for 3 days and many famous music bands and artists from all over the world perform on Arras’ stage like David Guetta, Coldplay, Major Lazor and many more. Arras Main Square Festival is known to be the biggest music festival in Northern France.

For lunch, few options are available from La Faisanderie, for typical French food to La route des Indes for Indian cuisine. Arras also offers a selection of Italian restaurants.
